Rehabilitation Clinic

A rehabilitation specialist is admitted to the rehabilitation clinic. Patients requiring outpatient rehabilitation care are admitted on the basis of a referral from a primary care health insurance doctor or a specialist. Admissions take place on a first-come, first-served basis and on a continuation basis with a queue. During the consultation, the doctor takes a history, performs a physical examination, if necessary orders additional tests, analyzes medical records and determines (issues a referral) in which mode the rehabilitation should take place, such as outpatient physiotherapy (2 weeks), Day Rehabilitation Center (3 weeks) or others.

Outpatient Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy takes place on the basis of a referral from a primary care health insurance doctor or specialist. Outpatient physiotherapy begins with a physiotherapy visit, at which the master of physiotherapy conducts a history, analysis of medical records, functional examination and determines the number and type of treatments (exception: if the referring physician is a doctor with a specialty in rehabilitation). Services are provided according to the order of accepted referrals. The treatment series begins up to 2 weeks after the physiotherapy visit and can last a maximum of 10 days. A referral from the referring physician is valid for 30 days.

Day Rehabilitation Center

It takes place on the basis of a referral from a primary care health insurance doctor or a specialist. The rehabilitation process begins with a qualifying visit to a rehabilitation specialist. During the consultation, the doctor takes a history, performs a physical examination, orders additional tests if necessary, analyzes medical records and determines the type of treatments and length of the treatment series.

Treatments are performed at the CM Luxmed Day Center
