The dermatology outpatient clinic deals with the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail diseases, such as allergic skin diseases, bacterial and viral diseases of the skin, diseases of the sebaceous glands of the skin, and hair diseases. The dermatologist is also tasked with the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.
The dermatology outpatient clinic also provides access to specialized tests, such as:
- dermatoscopy,
- mycological examination,
- laboratory tests,
- Hair tests: elemental analysis or trichogram.
It is possible to perform electrosurgery and dermatologic cryosurgery.
If necessary, the dermatologist may also order other tests: microbiology, allergy tests.
